Embroidery

Embroidery is the art of decorating fabric with needle and thread, allowing endless creativity. It involves stitching colourful threads in patterns to add beauty and texture to many items. Common types of stitches include the running stitch, a simple line; the backstitch, which creates strong outlines; the satin stitch, perfect for filling shapes; and the French knot, adding charming dots and texture.

With embroidery, you can make personalised clothing, decorative pillows, wall hangings, or even embellish bags and towels. Whether you prefer traditional floral designs or modern abstract patterns, embroidery brings a unique touch to everyday objects. It’s both a relaxing hobby and a way to express creativity, turning simple fabrics into treasured keepsakes.
