Craft of the Month - Amigurumi

Amigurumi (pronounced ah-mee-goo-roo-mee) is the Japanese art of crocheting or knitting small, adorable stuffed creatures. The word itself combines the Japanese words for 'knitted' and 'stuffed toy' — and once you've made your first one, you'll understand exactly why people fall in love with it.

Traditionally, amigurumi takes the form of cute animals, characters, and fantasy creatures, worked in the round and stuffed with soft filling to create their signature chubby, rounded shape. They're surprisingly quick to make, deeply satisfying to finish, and utterly impossible not to love.
